Best Speculative Fiction Story (Novella Form)
- Intermediate length stories containing elements of science fiction, fantasy or horror
- Story audio length (minus intro/promo) between 2 and 7 hours
- Uses only 1 or 2 people for the story presentation
- Work completed within the eligibility year
- Audio samples only, no video
Best Speculative Fiction Story (Long Form)
- Novel-length stories containing elements of science fiction, fantasy or horror
- Story audio length (minus intro/promo) over 7 hours
- Uses only 1 or 2 people for the story presentation
- Work completed within the eligibility year and have not competed in a previous year
- Audio samples only, no video
Best Speculative Fiction Audio Drama (Short Form)
- Short audio presentations containing elements of science fiction, fantasy or horror
- Total season’s complete running time for dramatic content only (excluding host commentary, listener e-mail, behind-the-scenes editions, etc.) under 7 hours
- 3 or more people for the story presentation
- Audio podcasts only, no video
Best Speculative Fiction Audio Drama (Long Form)
- Long audio presentations containing elements of science fiction, fantasy or horror
- Total season’s complete running time for dramatic content only (excluding host commentary, listener e-mail, behind-the-scenes editions, etc.) greater than 7 hours

- The majority of the podcast episodes must have been released during the eligibility year.
- Podcaster or Team must have released more than 1 episode

- News and commentary podcasts created by and for the fans of a given type of literary or entertainment work or series of works that have elements of speculative fiction (e.g. podcasts focused on H. P. Lovecraft, Buffy The Vampire Slayer or the World of Time).
