The podcast version of Murder at Avedon Hill started in June of 2007, available through this website and through Podiobooks.com. The final product should be around 45 episodes, with production lasting until the end of 2008. Due to the generous help of family, friends, and members of the tribe, MaAH has [...]
I’m postponing the ooVoo video chat event until March 24th - 27th. I have succumbed to the sinus infection that my wife and daughters have been fighting for the last week–not fun. Ep. 19 will be released before next weekend, as long as my voice holds out. If you already know you are interested in [...]

Seth Harwood has been podcasting for a while now, and his first podcast novel (Jack Wakes Up) is being published by Breakneck Books, available on Amazon.com on March 16th. As with J.C. Hutchins and Scott Sigler, Seth successfully parleyed his podcast success into a publishing deal, and this book launch will be an important marker [...]
I had the honor of being Joe Mieczkowski’s first interview on his relatively new podcast, On the Podcast. We got together this past weekend and talked for a couple of hours, and he did a wonderful job of editing it down to a two part interview. Part 1 was posted yesterday, and Part 2 should [...]

Ok, I’m back! Being a stay at home Dad has a lot of benefits; it also has its drawbacks–namely, the lack of time during the day to get the podcast recorded and edited. To get this episode out I shortened it from two chapters to one, but the good news is that the audio for [...]
We’re finally HERE! Thanks to everyone for your understanding and patience.
For your listening pleasure (I sure hope), here is the premiere of Murder at Avedon Hill:
Last Thursday I had the pleasure of interviewing J.C. Hutchins, author of 7th Son.
http://jchutchins.net
We discussed podcasting, his recording set up, awesome news from the Hutchins command HQ, and I even got to speak to several of the clones.
Apologies in advance about the audio quality. Skype had major sound quality issues during the interview (pops and drops).

From Publishers Weekly
Scott Sigler’s forthcoming thriller, Infested, has been selected as the next book-to-film project for Random House Films. The spring 2008-slated Crown novel, which is the first in what’s expected to be at least a two-book series, will be brought to the screen in partnership with Rogue Pictures (a sister company to the studio [...]
Thanks to everyone that has waited patiently (or at least subscribed and haven’t deleted it yet) for the start of the Murder at Avedon Hill Podcast. I finished my 2nd edit of the novel and recently received my first proof copy from Lulu.com.
I’m going through another round of edits (much less this time, thank the Children); I’m around [...]
I am still editing the novel. As stated previousy, I won’t begin the podcast novelization until I’m done with that. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it will be a few more weeks before the first episode of Murder at Avedon Hill will be released.
Until then, please check out Phil [...]
A few months ago Scott Sigler asked if I would be interested in blogging as a character from Ancestor (Jian). It was to be a small part of his overall marketing plan leading up to the bullrush on Amazon.com on April 1st. I said “Of course-I’ve always dreamed of being an overweight crazy biatch.”
So for three months [...]
I’m late with this, but better late then never. On Sunday Joe Murphy passed away after only a four month battle against Leiomyosarcoma Carcinoma (LMS). For the very few that might be listening to this that do not know who I’m talking about: Joe Murphy was one of the hosts of Kick Ass Mystic Ninjas [...]
T-Minus 1 is a short story set in the Land of Caern, detailing events that marked the beginning of the “War for Caern” (some twenty-five years before the events of Murder at Avedon Hill).
I hope the sound quality of this episode is considerably better than previous episodes. I’m trying to decide whether I want to [...]
The force of nature known as Scott Sigler needs your help. His second novel is being published by Dragon Moon Press, and will be available on Amazon.com April 1st. He (and many of us junkies) want to take Ancestor to #1. Don’t pre-order it today (well, if you must… I’m sure Scott wouldn’t mind). Please [...]
T-Minus 2 is a replay of the short story that was first played on Scott Sigler’s The Rookie Podcast.
Special Guest: J.C. Hutchins (for the hundreth time, thanks J.C. for reading Scott’s part in this story).
Yeah, I’m taking the easy way out this week. Next time (T-Minus 1) will be new fiction. Promise.
Apologies for the sound quality. [...]
The guest voices for the many characters makes for a much better podiobook than your average audio dramas. PG Holyfield's ability to tell a good yarn using this medium is up there with Scott Sigler and JC Hutchins.
This is the best audio novel I have heard so far. I've been in love with it since the first episode, and it just kept getting better all the time.
Murder at Avedon Hill is my favourite podcast novel so far.
The sound effects are great and they play a major part in sucking me into the story. No other author has managed to get me so hooked to a podcast novel.
The narration is very clear, and the voice of the main narrator is very soothing.
The podcast novel is more of a podcast audio drama because of the various people speaking in place of the various characters, which is quite unlike what usually happens in podcast novels because the authors or readers usually speak for each character in the novel, or at most there are two people speaking for the various characters in slightly modified voices.
All in all, I love this story from P.G. Holyfield.
This is a fantastic experience. Murder at Avedon Hill has a beautiful mix of story, music and narration that completely carry you away to another world.
